About Luminis Cultura
Before anything brilliant happens, there’s usually a slight flicker. I’m not claiming to make brilliant things. But I do keep showing up, hoping to notice something worth pausing for. The chance of stumbling onto something meaningful still feels romantic to me. And that’s the spark.
It’s not easy. It often means sifting through a wild mix of books, ideas, opinions, design, music, art, fashion, trends, and old stuff that still matters, maybe. The world is full to the brim. Trying to shape a small, meaningful corner of it takes time, attention, and a bit of editing.
That’s why I started Luminis Cultura. I needed a place to gather, place, and curate. To think out loud, so to speak. To follow creative threads and see where they lead. Most days, it’s a gamble. But it’s always about drifting towards virtuous beauty. That’s the joy.
Luminis Cultura is curated, written, and helmed by Brian Murnion—a filmmaker, creative director, poet, and self-proclaimed intellectual scrub based in Billings, Montana.
