A list of my favorite tracks that more or less represent my 20s. A ranking of all of the music I consumed between 2005 – 2015. I tracked what I listened to through my iTunes history, scrobbling music on Last FM, and my devout appreciation for annual list-making. Such a list requires finding a balance between the emotion and the metaphysical world. Music has the power to represent a time in one’s life, recalling vivid imagery and memory, while it can also call out an emotional reaction in the present. Nostalgia, err, music, is a helluva drug.
